Jowonio offers the following therapies as related services: speech/language therapy; occupational therapy; physical therapy; and play therapy. Each therapy is delivered by appropriately licensed staff who are committed to maintaining their professional credentials. The frequency of each service is identified on a child's Individual Education Plan. While dedicated space is available for "pulling students out" of their classrooms for therapy, we encourage service delivery within the classroom; this allows therapists to model strategies for teachers and ensure that their interventions are functional for each student. The therapists meet on a regular basis with classroom staff and work with parents to arrange a comfortable communication process about their child's progress.
