On Leaving Jowonio
|
||||||||||
Jill Gillette, Physical Therapist and Parent, wrote a poem on the graduation of her daughter Dakota from Jowonio. It captures the reflection that many of us share as these children we love move on to other settings. A girl from Korea, a boy that can’t walk, The friends of my daughter needed no words to start She saw the beauty in each child’s face She didn’t ask questions, just accepted and learned, What have I learned from my sweet daughter you ask… Each child is a gift I believe from above, The colors of Jowonio are in the rainbows bend.
