Dear Families,

We had a super fun time at Great Northern Mall’s indoor playground on Tuesday! We also really enjoyed getting out in the snow, while it lasted!

Next week, we’ll begin a unit on Nursery Rhymes. We’ll be acting out rhymes, doing some fun cooking activities and learning lots of rhymes as we go along! We’ll focus on rhyming words as we read and listen. We look forward to lots of fun over the next several weeks.

A heads-up: We will have a Sweetheart Party for the kids on February 14 th. If children wish to share valentines on that day, they are welcome to, but we will send them home to be opened there. If your child is sending in cards, please be sure there is one for every child in the room. There are 15 kids in the Earth Room. It’s easiest for the kids if the valentines are signed by the giver, but are not specifically addressed to each child. That way, they can be passed out without confusion. We’ll soon be putting up a sign-up sheet for anyone who is willing to donate a treat for the party, so be on the look-out!
