Dear Earth Room Families,

We’ve enjoyed talking about doctors and dentists this week. The highlight of our week was when Hamza’s mom and dad came in to share with us about being a doctor and a nurse. The kids were excited to see special Dr. instruments and to hear from our guests. Thank you to Liz and Moustafa for taking the time to come and share with us!

Next week, we’ll continue our unit about community helpers by talking about firefighters! We’re sure this will be a big hit, as we have many firefighters-in-training in the Earth Room! We’ll visit the firehouse on Thursday for an extra special treat!

Please be sure your children are dressed for the weather; if it’s not terribly wet and muddy, we will still be venturing outside. The kids really do need the opportunity to get outside, run around… and get some fresh air!

Don’t forget to send in favorite recipes to our Room Parent and please take a minute to fill out your contact information on the sheet posted outside the Earth Room.
